Veryl Rosenbaum

I welcome you into the fascinating world of dreams with their special meanings and messages. All dreams are unique and so are their symbols. There may be broad significance placed on buildings, oceans, spiders, etc. in dreams, but all individual have deeply personal feelings connected to every person, place or event in the amazing dream process. I offer you a site which is really and truly a space ‘all about you,’ targeting to explain the unique landscape of your dreams. I will be your guide as we unravel the meanings woven into the mysterious dreams you have created.

My personal dream analysis service is based on many years of analyzing dreams in my psychoanalytic practice and training other psychological students in the interpretation of dreams. I learned about my unconscious self by sharing dreams with my therapist and friends and continually find the uniqueness of dreams a great treasure of information about the inner world we all carry in our hearts, minds and spirits. We can all enjoy personal knowledge, psychological, spiritual and intellectual growth by investigating our dreams. There are many avenues to explore in the ‘examined life,’ and dreams are another tool to be used on the journey toward personal and universal
enlightenment.

I love the excitement of dreams and their disguised messages. It is a spiritual and professional honor to partner with dreamers to help them uncover vital inner self information. The more we know about ourselves - the forces which rule our emotions, decisions, attitudes and choices - the richer we are. When we step onto the wide, wide path of self awareness, life is never the same. That ‘never the same’ isn’t always easy or without pain, but it sure is interesting. When you become an
Investigator of unconscious forces you will probably find your-Self attracted to like-minded travelers, adding to your education, social connectedness and the pleasures of sharing the human drama with others.

One of the aides of great change and personal growth is understanding the messages inside of your dreams. Often you will require courage to face the truths which are revealed in the metaphors and symbols of the dream world. You probably have lots of courage you’ve never used! So, step up to the emotional bat and hit a home run of courage for the Home Team of You. Some of us are trained to avoid any truths which might put us face to face with our dark side (hate, greed, jealousies, revenge - the usual hard stuff.) But avoiding takes energy and the dark side is still there whether acknowledged or stuffed into the emotional vault of denial. All information about yourself is nothing to be afraid of because it is only information. You are in charge of your life and decide whether to use knowledge to change and grow or not. If you opt for growth you have the chance to become a more valuable person to yourself and others. You can also lose that vague feeling of discontent that the ‘unaware’ have, hoping for satisfactions through material acquisitions rather than the gratification which comes from comfortable relationships with the self and others.

There is great value in investing time and effort into knowing yourself on many different levels, often ignored in daily life. We are judged on our performances, intelligence, athletic abilities and many other easy-to-calibrate qualities. However, much of these socially obvious skills are governed by inner strengths and weaknesses of which we can be blithely unaware. When we understand, accept and challenge our unconscious reactions to life, we change and we grow (a positive life goal which renews itself with every new insight.) With self knowledge our destiny as human beings begins to take form and we experience the possibility of our capabilities. Life is so much more than moving like a feather in the wind.

So, dreams are a message gift from yourself to face emotional truths, unresolved conflicts and repressed feelings. Whenever we confront our inner truths (the light and dark side of human nature) we free up psychological energy within ourselves. This energy which has been used to keep us ‘in the dark’ aboutourselves, flows into our daily lives, adding to our ability tothink, feel, love, rejoice, create, and assert ourselves as individuals on a higher plane. All you need is the desire to know. I think this is beyond wonderful!

Before the dream becomes a message in the form of a sleeping story, a complex observational system from your practical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual ’inner eyes and ears’ scan the universe of life. Of course, we are busy living and don’t have time to listen to the daily ‘inner eye and ear’ messages. This information is then often condensed and symbolized in our nightly dreams. Dreams can be bizarre, funny, shocking, sexual, intense, threatening, funny, painful, scary, colorful, repetitive and other-worldly, to name a few of their unique qualities. They are always your creation. They are always about you. They are always a reminder that we are more than what we think we are. They are always ‘all about you.’

You don’t have to remember every dream or element to find insights into your inner life. Just voice record or jot down your dream story when you awake, pretending you’re a camera, noting the interesting people and events you have created in your sleep. Talk to like-minded people who share dreams and thoughts with each other, start a story which beings with your dream, or, contact me to begin the work of discovery.
